The West Sussex County Council Long-term Sustainable Transport Fund (LSTF) has allocated money for improvements to Horsham town centre access for pedestrians and cyclists as follows:
HR4 Horsham Town Centre Access
Connection of traffic signals to SCOOT system to improve efficiency and working of the traffic signals to improve traffic flows. Improvements for access to Horsham town centre across A281 Albion Way for pedestrians and cyclists, reducing the severance barrier at the junctions.
- Convert junctions from fixed time UTC to SCOOT at Albion Way/Bishopric, Albion Way/Springfield Road, Albion Way/Park Way and Park Way/East Street traffic signals
- Advanced Stop Lines (ASLs) at Albion Way/Bishopric, Albion Way/ Springfield Road and Park Way/East Street junctions.
